Test de Traceroute
Suivez les sauts réseau et les itinéraires empruntés par les paquets depuis nos serveurs vers votre domaine ou adresse IP cible.
What is Traceroute Path Analysis and How It Works?
A Traceroute Path Analysis tool is a network diagnostic utility designed to map and display the sequential route (path) packets of data take to travel from our host servers to a destination IP address or domain name. By utilizing TTL (Time to Live) fields in packet headers, traceroute initiates hop-by-hop tracking, measuring the exact transmission delay (latency) of packets across each router in the path.
Conducting a traceroute is indispensable for network engineers diagnosing routing loops, high network latency bottlenecks, and packet drops at specific intermediary carrier nodes. When packets traverse autonomous systems (ASNs), traceroute displays each gateway IP, enabling administrators to isolate whether a connectivity issue resides within a local ISP, an international transit provider, or the target host's data center firewall.
