1. About DNSBLU and Offered Services

DNSBLU (dnsblu.com) is a professional network intelligence and domain analysis platform providing the following free and API-based diagnostic tools:

• DNS Lookup: Queries all DNS record types (A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME, SOA) for any domain and displays BGP autonomous system (ASN) information.
• WHOIS Lookup: Retrieves domain registration details including registrar, registrant, creation date, expiry date, nameservers, and domain status directly from official registry WHOIS servers.
• Blacklist Check (DNSBL): Checks whether a domain or IP address appears on major email and web blacklists (DNSBL/RBL), including simultaneous checks of web server A records and MX mail server records.
• SSL Certificate Checker: Analyzes the SSL/TLS certificate of a domain, including validity dates, issuer authority, signature algorithm, Subject Alternative Names (SANs), and overall security configuration.
• Ping Test: Sends ICMP Echo Request packets from our infrastructure to the target domain or IP address, measuring round-trip latency (min/avg/max), packet loss percentage, and connection stability.
• Traceroute: Maps the complete network path from our servers to the target, displaying each intermediate router hop, IP address, and per-hop latency to identify routing bottlenecks.
• Reverse IP Lookup: Identifies all domains hosted on a given IP address using our continuously updated reverse-IP database and third-party data sources.
• IP WHOIS & Geolocation: Queries RDAP/WHOIS registries to retrieve IP block ownership, ASN, organization, abuse contact, network CIDR, and geographic location data for any IPv4 or IPv6 address.
• Safe Browsing Check: Queries multiple threat intelligence sources to determine whether a domain is flagged as malware, phishing, or spam.
• USOM Check: Queries the Turkish National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM) database to check if a domain appears on the official Turkish government blocked sites list.
• Domain Extensions Directory: A comprehensive reference for over 1,500 TLD extensions with pricing, registration requirements, registry information, and WHOIS server details.
• Available Domains Explorer: Lists freshly available and recently dropped domain names, enabling users to discover and register valuable domain names.
• REST API: A structured JSON API providing programmatic access to all DNSBLU diagnostic tools for developers, security researchers, and businesses. API access requires a valid API key.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

By accessing DNSBLU, you agree to use all services solely for legitimate network diagnostic, security research, domain management, and educational purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Automated scraping of web interface output using bots, scrapers, headless browsers, or bulk scripting tools without an authorized API key.
• Using DNSBLU tools to facilitate unauthorized access, DDoS reconnaissance, or targeted attacks against third-party infrastructure.
• Submitting abusive, illegal, or deliberately malformed queries designed to overload or disrupt DNSBLU infrastructure.
• Reselling, redistributing, or repackaging DNSBLU data or results as your own service without explicit written authorization.
• Attempting to circumvent rate limiting, IP blocking, or access control mechanisms through proxy rotation, VPN abuse, or technical manipulation.

Violations of these terms will result in immediate and permanent IP-level blocking. DNSBLU reserves the right to report malicious usage to relevant law enforcement or abuse reporting authorities.

3. Rate Limiting and Fair Use

To ensure service reliability and equitable access for all users, DNSBLU enforces the following fair-use rate limits:

• Free web interface users: Reasonable manual usage is permitted. Excessive or automated usage is prohibited.
• API users: Rate limits are defined per subscription tier and communicated at the time of API key issuance. Exceeding limits results in temporary throttling (HTTP 429 responses).
• Blacklist checks involve queries to dozens of external DNSBL servers per request and are subject to per-domain and per-IP frequency constraints.
• Ping and Traceroute tools generate real network traffic from our servers. Repeated high-frequency testing of the same target is prohibited.

4. API Credentials and Security

API credentials (X-API-ID and X-API-KEY) are issued exclusively to the registered account holder. You are solely responsible for:

• Keeping your credentials confidential and never embedding them in publicly accessible client-side code or public repositories.
• All API requests made under your credentials, whether authorized or resulting from unauthorized access due to credential leakage on your end.
• Immediately notifying DNSBLU if you suspect your credentials have been compromised so they can be revoked and reissued.

5. Data Accuracy and Service Disclaimer

All diagnostic results are retrieved in real-time from third-party authoritative sources. DNSBLU makes no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of data provided. The platform is offered strictly on an "as-is" basis. Specifically:

• DNS records reflect the state of public nameservers at query time and may not include recently propagated changes.
• WHOIS data is fetched from official registries and may reflect propagation delays of up to 24-48 hours after domain changes.
• Blacklist listing and delisting decisions are made entirely by independent DNSBL/RBL operators outside DNSBLU's control.
• Ping and Traceroute results reflect network conditions at query time from DNSBLU's server infrastructure and may differ from results obtained from other locations.
• IP geolocation data is sourced from third-party GeoIP databases and RDAP registries, which may not always reflect precise physical locations.

6. Search History and Audit Logs

DNSBLU stores anonymized search history records for the following operational purposes: displaying aggregated "Recent Audits" on the homepage (domain names only, no user identities); building and improving our internal Reverse IP and domain intelligence databases; and analyzing usage patterns to optimize infrastructure performance. No personally identifiable information (PII) is stored alongside query records for general users.

7. API Subscription and Billing

API quota packages are activated immediately upon successful payment. The following policies apply:

• Refunds: Due to the immediate digital delivery of API credits, refunds are not available once queries have been consumed or quotas activated.
• Plan changes: Subscriptions can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled through official DNSBLU channels.
• Quota expiry: Credits are subject to the validity period specified in the purchased package. Unused credits do not roll over unless explicitly stated.
• Account suspension: Accounts in violation of these Terms will be suspended without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, databases, and brand assets on DNSBLU are the exclusive intellectual property of DNSBLU and its operators. You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on DNSBLU's interface, data structures, or API responses without prior written consent.

9. Service Availability

DNSBLU does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. Scheduled maintenance, third-party registry outages, DDoS mitigation, or infrastructure upgrades may cause temporary interruptions. DNSBLU shall not be liable for damages or losses resulting from service downtime.

10. Modifications to These Terms

DNSBLU reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior individual notification. The most current version will always be published at this URL. Continued use of DNSBLU services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
